To book an aircraft on StickMonkey, you must create a StickMonkey account, maintain an accurate profile, and hold applicable qualifications in accordance with the FAA. Additionally, the booking must be approved by the aircraft manager.
How do I name my price to rent an aircraft?
To submit an offer to purchase flight hours, find an aircraft and specify the number of hours, hourly rate, and timeframe for your offer. If the aircraft manager accepts your offer, you must complete a checkout per the requirements of the aircraft manager. You may receive a full refund on unused funds up to one day after passing a checkout or if the aircraft is unavailable to fly for longer than a month. Flight hours that have not been used by the end of the timeline will not be refunded.
How do checkouts work?
Flight checkouts must be completed per the requirements of aircraft managers. The platform may support checkout reciprocity for similar aircraft with the concurrence of aircraft owners, instructors, and insurers. Reciprocity may apply when aircraft owners manage multiple aircraft or share agreements with other aircraft owners to mutually recognize checkouts.
What does it mean to split cost equally in the context of a time-building flight?
Splitting cost equally means that each pilot pays his or her pro rata share of the operating expenses, including fuel, oil, airport expenditures, or rental fees.

To apply to be an instructor, check the applicable box in the Instructor section of your profile.
How do I make my aircraft available for booking on StickMonkey?
To make your aircraft available for booking on StickMonkey through the "Search Aircraft" functionality, you must be approved as an aircraft manager on StickMonkey. Aircraft on StickMonkey must be certified for commercial use by the FAA, insured for commercial use, and undergo 100-hour inspections. To apply to be an aircraft owner, input your aircraft details in the Aircraft Manager section of your profile.
How does verification work?
If you select StickMonkey Pilot Verification in your profile, documents uploaded in your profile including FAA certificates, insurance, medical certificate, and logbook credentials will be screened. If verified, your profile will receive a checkmark and will be ranked higher in search results. You must re-check all applicable documents before any flight per FAA regulations.

In the Time-Builder section of your profile, you can sync your Google Calendar account to StickMonkey. This will import times that you are busy on your Google Calendar into your StickMonkey schedule. It will also push the times you are booked in StickMonkey to your Google Calendar.
